as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to be a prostitute. What could be more gratifying than sexually pleasuring random sleazy strangers for incomparably small sums of money? When, at family gatherings, my relatives would ask me: "Say, little Maria, what do you want to be when you grow up -- a lawyer, a doctor, an astronaut maybe?", I would reply: "Fuck astronauts, Aunt Betty, when I grow up I want to be a cheap crack whore!" It appears that I had set my sights a bit too high, though. As I grew up, I had to face the fact that I am simply not qualified for such a coveted occupation (for instance, I could never acquire a professional tone in saying: "Hey Mister, I'm gonna fuck you now.") So, I had to settle for an academic career instead. But on the day of the shooting of this video, I was given a unique opportunity to live out, if only on film, my childhood fantasy of hooking on the streets of Brooklyn. It is an experience I will treasure for the rest of my miserable days in the academia. Thank you
